Unisex boxy sweater in organic cotton fleece with a handprinted sparks motif. The design was printed one star at a time with a mix of differents hues of blue. The sleeves, back and rib are in provincial blue.
 
The motif can be done again but can never be exactly replicated. The different hues are created by applying different pressures when printing and by switching ink colours. The screenprinting was done using waterbased inks.
 
This sweater is loosely thought of as a "Holiday sweater" (not an ugly one!) but was design so its usage is not limited to this season. The graphic motif may be looked at as stars, snowflakes, microbes but also as some sort of hawaïan motif. It is a question of angle and context  and it surely is festive!
